I have never seen the musical on stage but am really excited about the movie! The trailer looks awesome! And it has incredibly hot men in it! The music looks really good too. Can’t wait!
I love movies! All movies. You will most likely find me watching silly girl movies or documentaries. (I know what a contradiction..but I want either something entertaining that will make me laugh (life has enough drama) or something entirely interesting that gets me riled up.)

This looks excellent. This is a documentary by Ben Stein which follows the public shunning of scientists who question Darwainism. Amazing in that these once respected scientists believe that the mathematical perfection of humans, creatures and plants is too perfect to be created by nature alone and believe that it must come from a divine source, mainly, God. What is even more amazing is that to even question, not disprove, the theory of Darwin, these scientists are expelled from every scientific community.
I would really like to see this. Being a devoted Christian I have always found it funny that people could believe that God could create the world..but that it was impossible for him to do it through cells and scientific reasoning…come on…have a little faith …*)

I just watched this documentary that came out today. The documentary originally began as following retro gamers. What developed was a classic confrontation between good and evil.
It follows Billy Mitchell, the original high scorer of Donkey Kong who held the highest score for twenty + years (BOOO!)
and Steve Wiebe, the underdog, a 7/8 th grade science teacher, who plays for fun and finds that he can beat the high score (YEA!!!!!)
.
Without giving too much away Steve is a genuinely good guy and Billy a spiteful pompous ass. Steve fights to prove he deserves a place as a record holder but is faced with obstacle after obstacle. You’ll find yourself really pulling for Steve. In addition, it is really interesting to see the logic and strategy behind the game play.

Finally…after 18 seasons, 400 episodes and countless cameos..The Simpsons movie is here. Some say too little too late but I’ll guess we’ll see. Lately Simpsons episodes have become a joke. The stories jump all over the place, like a Seinfeld episode, and Homer’s antics have become ridiculous instead of endearing. I might be alone but I miss the original seasons where morals, family and doing the right thing were the theme instead Homer dancing with Pigs or meeting celebrities. Even other main stream shows find it amusing to make fun of the Simpsons. South Park did it an episode where every scheme they tried was answered with a “Simpsons did it.” Family Guy has, I believe, on more than one occation down right made fun of the Simpsons. So it leaves you to wonder are the Simpsons finally jumping the shark?
On a lighter note. The movie website does have a cool option to create yourself as a Simpsons character complete with yellow skin and four fingers. (Trivia Nugget for you..the only person who appears with five fingers is God in the Simpsons world..intersting observance.)
Here is a wonderful video montage that beautifully illustrates my point. It shows all three shows, Simpsons, Family Guy and South Park ripping on each other.
