My garden is sprouting some but my parents’ garden is in full swing!  Check out their HUGE watermelon.  Keep in mind I can’t get my strawberries to grow but they have a whole bowl of fruits and veggies everyday.  Sigh.

5th of July - Graham’s!

Well, the Cajuns are in town…

Our extended fam. from Lousiana are in town and we had a nice Gumbo/J-balaya at my Tia’s house.  The cousins wanted to go out so we went to Graham’s.  Needless to say…a good time was had by all but especially me *)

Johnny’s Birthday Extravaganza!

The big bro turned 34 this week.  We did a happy hour which was fun but we ended up getting kicked out of where we were at.  Note:  NEVER eat at “Sonoma” in downtown Phoenix, AZ.

Not my garden…

My mom and Dad have done their own garden.  It looks excellent.  I can’t wait to do mine but I somehow can’t seem to get “unsick”.  Now I’ve come down with strep throat from my little angels.  Ahh well. I’m hoping this weekend I can plant. We’ll see.  Meanwhile, here is my Mom and Dad’s garden.

Vern’s Sweet 18 Disney Princess Party

Now my baby sis has just turned “Sweet 18″ and we had an awesomely fun Disney Princess Party.  We all got dressed up in pink and danced and margarita-ed.  Good Times!

Easter

 

So of course we went out to Wickenburg for Easter.  We just hung out with the fam and played games and had fun.  This is a bonfire we had on Sat. night.

We hid eggs for the kids and on sat. we played board games.  Really..we wait all year to play our games. It is insane and fun!  Nothing more interesting than seeing a bunch of stubborn people argue back and forth about the validity of an answer or what is exactly acceptable.  I love it!
